Task: Portfolio Framework and Focus:
WebQuest 1:
What headings could be used within the standards framework for a digital portfolio to be created showing evidence of these NETS-S standards?
A student could set goals, and use samples of work that display achievements towards meeting those goals.
For example, a student may have headings such as "Effective IT integration", "Good Show of Process" and "Clear Communication".
An MYP student may want to use work that shows use of the different Approaches to Learning. Or, s/he could choose work that show one of the three holistic themes of the MYP: Knowledge (covering Tests, Quizzes and grades in general), Communication (covering topics such as the utilisation of the writing process, RIFWC, the creative/deign cycle, etc. or the use of ICT in a major project) and InterCultural Awareness (covering research assignments that look into other cultures such as One World write-ups for Science, most Humanities units, looking into the cultures of various countries - such as Francophone countries for French assignemnts (ISD's MYP Language B), CS inititatives that look into the effects of culture and social constraints on the community).
I believe I have also answered the rest of the questions in this answer. The questions were:
