I AM SOOOOOOO BEHIND SCHEDULE!!!
I missed some of the previous classes due to the DISA function rehearsals. I have made a list of all the things that I need to do:
Look at someone's blog and comment on it (last part of Portfolios Defined Task)
Write a Personal Statement and send it to 2 people in the class. Based on their constructive comments, I will rewrite my personal statement.
We have moved onto a new task that is the second part of the Investigation stage. That is what we should be working on now.
Last lesson, Mrs. Lindsay handed out the task, but we were unable to work on it as my laptop was having some software packages on it (including Inspiration).
I spent last lesson designing a theme for my weblog. It's fantastic, even if I say so myself... :P:P:P
I don't want to write about it here just yet, for fear of someone else ... shall we say... plagiarising from my ideas??? :P
This lesson, Mrs. Lindsay led us through de Bono's Six thinking hats. I had previously seen Elementary doing stuff like that, and we had been advised by Mr. Baverstock to use it for my VA Process Journal.
hehe... the girls are fooling around. I think they're sneakoing up on people who are working at their laptops and scaring them. Mrs. Loindsay just told them to leave me alone.
Where was I? Oh yeah, the VA Pocess Journal. Mr. Baverstock told us to use de Bono's hats for that. Obviously it's something the teachers have been trained to do recently. They're always enthusiastic about these new ideas. Let's see how long it lasts.... :P Don't get me wrong! I think it's great that we're getting all these new processes and all but sometimes they're overexcited about these new technological stuff which sometimes don't work out. One time, teachers were taught to send us all our assignments on Outlook as Tasks. Some students don't even check their Outlook email. That lasted about two months. Now we don't even USE Outlook.
I AM MOVING OFF THE TOPIC!
So, this lesson, we went through de Bono's hats. Mr. Baverstock didn't finish explaining the last three in class. I found one of the hats very inrteresting, the blue one, which is Thinking about Thinking. I've got to think about that! Don't you think? lol... that pun was SO overused in class today.
So... now that I've written my process journal entry, I'll finish off my pending work. What should I start with? Let me THINK about that! :D:D:D:D:D
